Today is Administrative Professional's Day, and we would be remiss if we neglected to thank our wonderful Church Secretary, Sandra. Sandra keeps us organized for each week's worship, for every event, and coordinates the use of our busy building.

Thank you, Sandra!

The time has almost come for my sabbatical leave to begin. I will be taking sabbatical leave beginning Monday, April 29, 2019, and will return to the church on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. My first Sunday back will be July 7th.

The intention of a pastoral sabbatical is to provide a time of rest, renewal, and refreshment of the pastor’s soul with the longevity of ministry in mind. As a reminder, while I am away on Sabbatical, I won’t be available for pastoral care, funerals, weddings, or any church events. The Deacons have been making plans for your love, support, and care. They have you covered and if you need anything, please contact them.

This Sunday, April 28th, during worship we will have time to recognize and bless my sabbatical time and to ritually pass the baton to our Sabbatical Pastor, the Rev. Suzanne Wagner. I hope you will make plans now to be in church that day.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of my ministry with you, and for granting me this time away to catch my breath, recharge my batteries, and renew my soul. I know you depend on me to be fully present with you and this sabbatical will make this possible for many years to come.

Finally, while I am away I will be praying for you and for the church. I ask that you keep me in your prayers as well.

Peace & Blessings,
Pastor Jeff
